From Me to You
Hi, I'm Samantha Iligan
I’m just an ordinary girl with a love for building communities. After graduation, I felt lost and behind my peers.
I struggled, judged myself harshly, and forgot to give myself grace.
This passion project started as a way to help myself, and others, navigate that confusing post-grad phase.
I’m glad you’re here, and know that you’re not alone! Everyone gets lost sometimes, even the best of the best.
Mission
At Letters to New Grads, my mission is to connect new graduates with one another, regardless of their school, background, or degree. I’m dedicated to equipping new grads with the tools, encouragement, and community support they need to reach our shared goal: meaningful employment.
Looking ahead, I hope to build a network of mentor volunteers from diverse industries to help guide and uplift recent graduates. Every graduate deserves to feel proud of their achievement, because earning a degree is a big deal.
I truly believe that with hard work and the courage to show up as your authentic self, great things are within reach for all of us.

Community
Connection through shared experiences becomes even more powerful in times of uncertainty. You shouldn’t have to navigate post-grad life alone.
Resilience
We will get rejected... a lot. But even in moments of rejection or failure, we keep going. Just keep pushing and keep moving forward!
